In a particularly good episode of JLU, Timm and co. introduced viewers to a DC version of Marvel's classic team, the Defenders. What if the two teams were to battle it out?

The rosters are:

DC:
Aquaman
Dr. Fate
Solomon Grundy
Amazo

Marvel:
Sub-Mariner
Dr. Strange
Hulk
Silver Surfer

They fight in an open plane, with no special knowledge of each other, but they do have every reason to believe that their opposite numbers need to be stopped.

Note: Technically, Hawkgirl was part of the DC team in place of Grundy, but he WAS in the episode, and makes a much more appropriate counterpart to The Hulk.

Grom my understand of JLU amazo is the only chance JLU have and that's all they might need.

He had problem with magic (Grundy)

But if Strange can't top him than it's easy win for JLU due to Amazo rest of the JLU cartoon version of heroes are weak.

I don't know, the JLU versions of Aquaman and Grundy are both beasts. Aquaman whipped Wonder Woman, and Grundy gave Superman a run for his money.
