This is a tournament with all of the Akatsuki.

1. Pein(Bye)
2. Madara(Bye)

3. Itachi vs 8. Hidan
4. Kisame vs 7. Sasori
5. Deidara vs 6. Kakuzu(winner gets bye)

It is a tournament. Who wins these fights and who wins the tournament?

fight 3: itachi (unless the enemy to die)
fight 4: hmm... ill get back to you on that...
fight 5: deidara pwns easily. he doesnt need to get close...

Itachi ultimately wins.

Unless, Kisame (Who will beat Sasori), can use the mist jutsu, in which case he might be able to kill Itachi.

...Wtf is bye?

A bye in tournament lingo is basically a free pass, a competitor with a bye doesn't have to fight in whatever round he has the bye in.

...So do Pein and Madara not have to fight?

A bye means Pein and madara dont have to fight in the intial round.

I think Itachi owns Hidan with ease in the first fight.
I think this is a too close to call battle, but I would say Sasori.
Deidara places clay bombs under Kakuzu and blows him up.
