Datsun became Nissan in the 80s. Like it says Datsun really big, and under the model name it says "by Nissan". The engine says Nissan on it too.

Congrats on the ride, my 3rd car was a 1980 280zx; I loved it, gave me 6 years of enjoyment.

Call her "Fairlady", which was/is the Japanese name for the Datsun/Nissan Z cars, well, Fairlady Z to be exact.
