Fail thread rules
It seems to me that with the popularization of the word "fail" - as an internet meme - we have become abusive of the term. As such, it is important that we maintain the full understanding and limits of this term by explaining the proper scenarios of which this term may be used effectively.
Rule 1. If a thread is posted saying "thiz thread failz lol" it is an immediate fail in the truest of ways. At which time the general public should feel free to use the term "fail". Remember my dear posters, just because you're the first to call yourself an idiot doesn't mean it's not true.
Rule 2. Making a thread that's already been made. Just because you didn't search doesn't mean it's your idea.
Rule 3. Making a thread in the wrong forum. Yeah sure rebels are cool, but that's no excuse for stupidity. And remember by using "fail" in situations that it is needed you can help lower the stupidity of our population by 0.00001%.
Rule 4. Needless Member bashing. We are to encourage a safe and health environment. If you see a member bashing another member you should attack with an "epic fail" picture of some kind.
Rule 5. If ~Wålshy~ makes a thread. I'm sure this one doesn't need explaining.
Rule 6. Threads with no topic. If you have nothing to talk about there's no reason to let everyone know. "Fail!"
Rule 7. Talking Aussie when you're not Aussie. "amiright", "mate" and many other such terms are only to be used if you are of, have been, born in or moved from Australia. Seriously, don't be a traitor to your country be original and stick with your own slang.
So please, don't rape words. 🙂
