The UN is IMO more powerful but the IG is alot more versatile so yea, Thanos can win in a battle like this.

Thanos wins. Depending on how incomplete the IG is. If he's missing 2 or more of any of the Time, Space, Reality, or Power gems then the outcome is in doubt.

What if he's missing the Mind, Soul, and Ego gems?

Galactus wins

Then it may be more dangerous for the wielder. It's been stated that the reality and time gem are the most dangerous to use individually. I think the mind gem that allows the use more in-depth knowledge of the other gems while the soul gem allows greater unison. I'm only speculating on this and the last part is best on Warlock being able to disrupt the Gauntlet by reaching out from inside the Soul gem.
