Okay.
Zoom seems to be getting a lot of love lately.
So I decided to put him in a series of matches to see how much firepower this speedster can take.
He takes on these opponents one-by-one with varying degrees of power.


Zoom VS:

1. Juggernaut

2. PC Supes

3. Per Degaton

4. Golden Prime

5. Silver Surfer

6. Gladiator (w/ full confidence)

7. Rune King Thor

8. Phantom Stranger


Which of them can he beat, and which ones he can't?

Don't know about 3
Golden Prime......

The rest Zoom looses.

1. Juggernaut - Zoom wins.

2. PC Supes - Zoom wins.

3. Per Degaton - Dunno who this guy is.

4. Golden Prime - Based on feats, Zoom wins.

5. Silver Surfer - Looking at how Runner was able to take Surfer apart, I want to say Zoom. But Runner can fly and Zoom can't, so I say he loses.

6. Gladiator (w/ full confidence) - Zoom wins or stalemates. Can't decide.

7. Rune King Thor - Zoom loses.

8. Phantom Stranger - Zoom loses.

1. Juggernaut --- Zoom wins he will be BFR sooner or later

2. PC Supes------ PC Superman easy win

3. Per Degaton------Per Degaton wins this might be close it depends on his durability he is an immortal and has similar time powers.

4. Golden Prime----------Superman Prime from 1 million? if so he wins

5. Silver Surfer--------------Surfer wins Zoom not being able to fly and Surfer having Nana-second reaction with his insane durability and all SS would need is one good hit. Also Surfer has been in nexus of reality and has been able to see time stream as time had stooped

6. Gladiator (w/ full confidence) --- Zoom wins he can steal glads speed etc

7. Rune King Thor ------ RK thor wins

8. Phantom Stranger------------- PS wins

Agreed. If it's "to the death", he loose at one, tought.

Yeah, I knew about him basically heralding people and sharing his timestream abilities. Just didn't realize his talents for stealing speed, too.

Well i don't seem to recall any direct evidence though let me see if I can find it. Been years since i looked at that book. I know Flash and others have failed to absorb Zoom's speed.

Any good issues featuring Zoom from 2001+ would be nice to know about. He makes for a great villain. Very likeable, IMO.

Am I the only one that needs to be convinced that PS can take Zoom?

You can try Final Crisis Rogues' Revenge(2008) ; Zoom show the ability to give the time stream power to Inertia.Then Inertia steals Zooms powers turning him to a wheelchair bum like prof x and then Kid zoom gets K.o by the rogues

1- He can defeat Juggernaut
2- PC easily. I don't think I need to tell people about his Durability and Speed.
3- ?? No idead
4- Mini Second passed and Prime wins
5- it could go either way. If Zoom steals his speed, then SS is in trouble. However, if SS hits him once he wins.
6- He can collapse a Solar System. Thats tough, but I doubt he can do anything to hit Zoom
7- Rune Thor King wins, he is way stronger
8- PS easily
