on an alternate timeline in 1897, italy and spain becAme one so as their colonies and was named italica. for more than a hundred years, philippines (now renamed as veronica) gained independence as a gift from italica's king because of the "valour" of lord castillo during the 3rd world war as castillo becomes the king of veronica. however a feudal war broke up when lord montano, a rival, rebelled with 40% of the nation's nobles and caused the castillo's power decline. while both forces fought, the poor and the natives were forgotten, racial slavery became rampant, and justice was suppressed violently. with the remaining neutral nobles took pity upon the poor, they secretly created a liberation army among the natives to create a democratic-republican government without racial discrimination and slavery.

enter leonardo, a result of the forbidden love between a castillan man and montanian woman. being an "abomination", he was abandoned and sought to be killed by his families after the execution of his parents. fostered by a good and descent family, leonardo vows to destroy both the houses and joined the republican rebellion in the name of vengeance and freedom. what will be the result of his rebellion against his own blood? whatr will happen to the nation tortured bar war and bloodshed? meanwhile, another love secretly blooms between the offsprings of the rival lords............

i know it sounds like romeo and juliet but there's some twists in the story such as some characters are actually the fictional descendants of real philippine heroes and the story is mixed with the theme of vengeance, futuristic warfare and liberation of an oppressed people. the story is also set in the alternate year corresponding year 2015 ad of gregorian calendar.
