If the NJO authors hadn't killed off Anakin and had him captured by the Yuuzhan Vong and he instead of Jacen becoming Darth Caedus, how strong would he be? Would there be anybody capable of stopping him?

This too should be in the EU forum since this isn't actually a vs match. This is one of those what if questions that can't be answered to due how young Anakin was when he died but Luke would probably be able to stop him.

They'd likely toy with the idea of another dark Anakin, but assuming a competent author was in control, they'd realize that making Solo a Sith draws far too many parallels with his namesake and would make for very poor and cliched writing. Likely they'd turn Anakin Solo into what Anakin Skywalker would have been by replacing Luke eventually as #1 and having Solo defeat a dark Jacen or Jaina, thereby "redeeming" his grandfather's name. Or something.

um... anakin solo WAS supposed to be the original character to go to the dark side after NJO but lucas thought it was gay so he made the authors kill him off and jacen took on the role of what anakin would have been if he didn't die.

Point proven.

The same thing would have happened..

The writers would have written him the exact same way as they did Jacen

ya but then Jacen was the one with the force training with that bird person and also had vongsense cuz of captivity with the yv ppl.

Anakin never had such intense training etc.

wait nvm. sry. this was already when they decided to kill him off.
