Brain Games: Clark vs Bruce

1st round - 2min (max) game of speed chess

2nd round - freestyle verse creation (panel of judges consists of: Dr Doom, Dr. Dre, Grandmaster Flash and The Flash).

3rd round - speed-Sudoku ... 7 games, first to complete all 7 wins

4th round - take over the world via intellectual brilliance

who wins overall, each round and why?

1 - Bruce, he has a more tactical mind.

2 - Bruce, he has a greater imagination.

3 - Clark, he processes info much faster.

4 - Bruce, because he already has that scheme planned. biscuits

When you say world take over, do they get their prep areas/gear and is it DC earth or our earth?

neutral environment, no Kryptonian or Marvel specific tech, just generic sciences... so they have to invent, learn and develop the sciences/methods that they deploy.

Superman once created an advanced computerm designed to think millions of moves in advance and he sometimes beat it at chess. To be fair that was pre crisis Supes.

Current Supes has a practically infallible memory and a mind that works a lot faster than any humans, that should count for something. he's no slouch in the tactical department it's just that his powers allow him to act more quickly and decisively than a vulnerable human with no powers.

Superman wins 3 and 4 for sure. He's already sought of done 4 - Superman: King of the World, noh?

Sometimes I really dont know about Batman I dont want to scream PIS but damn.

1. Superman (his mind can calculate like a computer...and chess is in the end simply algorithims)

2. batman - more creative

3. Superman - same reason as 1

4. batman - better strategist, tactician, and manipulator

so all in all, Superman's mind works much faster than Batman's, but Batman is more cunning

I think superman would for sure win 4 because he is smart, and is more powerful to take over.

I agree. The lightspeed Super-Brain isn't used much, but it is there.

feints, tricks, deception ... these can be played against a computer far more easily than against a human being.

anyway, speed chess might be somewhat troublesome for Batman but given that he's playing against a person he knows inside out, I think he should win.

Superman would win the Sudoku, that much I agree with.

1 - Supes...especially since Infinite Crisis brought back his super intelligence.

2 - I'd give this to Bruce...he's more creative.

3 - Supes. Just processes info so much faster.

4 - Supes - He's already done so. 🙂
