Regarding the 'most current' versions of each character - Gladiator takes this easily. I would have given classic Mantis the nod, though.

Supes is written well above Mantis, So Gladiator shouldn't have any trouble.

Mantis actually using his stupid powers would win. But as is, Gladiator takes it handily.

That's the version I'm using. And Mantis was a beast. Probably even more so than Gladiator. He has a shot at one-shoting him. I don't even know what Mantis has recently appeared in.
