I play online poker for free, but I should really start doing it for money, I'm not bad.

My friend wins ridiculous amounts on net poker every week. Something like $150 last week, and $270 the week before. He does lose sometimes, but not nearly as much as he wins. I never really got in to it, but I'm good at poker IRL... just not a big fan of gambling. inb4 poker isn't gambling, cuz for the most part, it is , even though there's skill involved.

I've won about $1500 dollars in the past month and a half. It's a great way to make money if you know how to play well, and know when to call it a day.

I've had that argument with a couple people.

Well, it is gambling, of course it is. The argument I always have (particularly with people who've never played and don't know how to), is that there's more to it than just luck.

Yeah, failed miserably in the big tourney... Got A,K, flop came K,4,7 turn and river 10,2... Guy had AA.

Poker is gambling, of course, it's got a shit load of luck incolved.
