Yeah, the original is a picture of a pipe. It is coloured paint that you look at.

What we are looking at is actually even less of a pipe (as far as thing that aren't pipes can be more or less pipe...y) as it is actually illuminated pixels on a screen portraying a scan or photo of a painting of a pipe.

So the original picture wasnīt really a pipe either if it was just a coloured picture, taken of an also not pipe painting.

So what this thread is about is pictures of things arnīt really actually that thing, just a picture.

Well, I have no idea what this thread is about. But that's more or less what the painting is about.

that's why people would say there is no past because all you think you remember is actually just a memory. thus all past exists in the present

Amazing that a picture of a pipe can cause such deep discussion.
