its not. i don't like Light or Batman, but i can give the devil his due: Light is one hard SOB to find and Batman (aside from the overratedness) is about the only other guy who i can think of that can compete with L.

Anyway's logically speaking. Batman wouldn't challenge and gode Light like L would. He'd do it completely differently. He works with concepts like fear and intimidation, so if he got to step one: Figuring out was someone who had access to police information. He'd simply bully his way into houses and rummage through their things cuz he isn't bound by the need for a warrant.

Bats would win, and whether you hate or like Bats, you'd love to see him break that pussy Light's nose.

Light would find out Batman's name first and spank him silly. There's no way Bats is finding out who Light is. Beyond that he's Japanese, Light will give no indication of where he is because of Batman himself. The reason L was able to get so close to Light was basically because Light let him come to him. As he himself admitted.

Batman doesn't work with he police closely like L. He would therefor never use the same kind of opening move that L did. Batman is too much of an isolationist who generally works alone in the shadow apart from squeezing sources. With Light there are no sources, and thus Bats will be forced to look for patterns in the deaths or simply beating up/interrogating people connected to the police. That is assuming Batman will find out that Kira gets police info, or that Light feels bothered enough to play 'catch me if you can' with him.

Finally, some people have been saying that Batman will win due to a tech advantage. I'm sorry, but I don't see how that will help him even a little. The only thing I can think of is tracing Lights hacking, which I doubt he'll do, try or be able to.

Light figures out the ridiculously easy truth that Batman equals Bruce Wayne long before Bats even narrows it down to the Kanto region.Light pwns.

i've read all the major arcs of Batman but yes i'm not a big fan of DC. i found batman to be simply one overrated pile of batshit to be honest.

as for Marvel, i've read EVERYTHING on punisher, read plenty of wolverine, hulk, all the major arcs and even followed x-men for years. and even then, nothing comes close to Preacher in my opinion.
