The Hills Have Eyes - superior to the original imo
Dawn of the Dead
The Man Who Knew Too Much

Those are the only good remakes I can remember.

The rest are in the worst list...

The beat that my heart skipped (remake of "fingers"
the magnificent seven (retelling of seven samurai)
The departed (even if you knew about the elavator scene from infernal affairs...it's still a great movie with brilliant acting)
Vanilla sky (i'm in a minority in liking this i think)
