I see Doom calling this unknown entity "master," as more of a respect type of thing . I really don't see Doom honestly pulling out some type of "I'm inferior to this guy" complex after all these decades - as that's just not in his character.

Like someone mentioned, if Doom does bow to this thing, it will more than likely be some kind of ploy to help him get ahead in the end. He and Thanos are very similar in that aspect.

Isn't the one writing the story the same guy who is writing Old Man Logan, the story where everybody guessed the ending long before the issue was out ?

Doom will bow to his female counterpart: Domme (hey, after "Thor Girl" anything is possible).

Whoever it is, he's apparently responsible for causing the Apocalyptic future seen in Old Man Logan. Apparently he has time travelling powers, and is some how related to Doom getting all his magical abilities. So yeah, he pretty uber, but probably a bit of a let down.

Really enjoyed the Master of Doom arc; and most of the rest of Millar's run. The proceeding had a very D.C. esq touch to it.

I wish they'd give Warren Ellis a go a writing the FF4.
