Darkseid w/Heartstones Vs Thanos w/IG

The Heartstones are uber. Able to kill even God and remake the universe/multiverse if need be. Though this was just stated not shown. Darkseid has all the Heartstones, while Thanos has all the gems. Who wins?

I'm waiting for TP's opinion before I make an informed decision. 🙂

I'm trying to find a link, but there is none. From what I remember they are a bunch of stones scattered across the universe. Lady Styx was trying to get them all to kill God and remake the universe in her vision. This was all in the 2006 Omega Men series. Lianna had one and she evolved to be even more powerful.

I'm definitely going to have to check that out. I love the cosmic-level drama, DC and Marvel.

Omega Men was one of the better minis during that time. The only downer was the art. Many people didn't like it. I, in fact loved it. Elu took out Superman by putting him asleep. I think it was Elu. Not an expert on Omega Men.

As you can see, even creation itself has a heart (ie. the Heartstones.) Lady Styx gathered these 4 stones so that she might kill the actual God, and usurp his position. Doing so would've made her one with the whole of creation (much like the Titan brothers did during the 'Lucifer' series.)

Though Lady Styx was eventually stopped by Silica and the Omega Men (before she realized her full potential,) it's one of those cases of 'implied power' vs. 'demonstrated power'.. But imo, the Heartstones seemed more equivalent to THOTI (from 'The End'😉 than they did the IG.

Darkseid is a much better character...that has been shitted on for years. Heartstones are indeed powerful, though. Hopefully they can have more playtime in the future, but I doubt it. Limitless power.

Due to on-panel feat, I'll have to say Thanos.

It was shown and depicted on-panel just what the IG can do, and how much power it has, even with incomplete gems.

The Heartstones.. meh. We never saw it's full potential (I have to admit it's my first time of hearing about it).

I'll have to read the issues.
I might change my decision, if the Heartstones' on-panel feats are better than the IG's.
