Death, dear friends, drinking, and Dimebag.

This weekend was quite memorable, I have to admit. January 5 was the day that a very old friend of mine died from a brain tumor after a long bout. Shauna was honored by us, her family and friends, at an open mic memorial where we all took turns reminiscing about the friend that we lost. Saturday night we proceeded to drink fantastic amounts of alcohol and party like the good old days. On the way home, we made a small detour to Arlington where we visited the grave site of "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott and paid our respects. It was very moving, to say the least. I took a shitload of pictures over the course of the weekend, but I will only post a few for now. I even made a video of when we went to visit Dime. It's my first YouTube video and it's not the best quality, but it's an experience that I'll never forget.

I'll post the video after I upload it.

Very sorry to hear Matt

My condolences

Thanks, Mark. Shauna was a good friend whom I'll miss.

This is my first YouTube video, so be kind. Also, this video will give you a clear example of why my screen name is Impediment.

That was so beautiful. touching

I can still remember when I heard Dimebag had been killed.

His grave is truly awesome tho, a total show of how much he was loved.

Sorry for your recent loss too. I have lost a lot of people in my life. It's never easy. hug

Sorry for your loss Matt.

As a musician, when I heard Dime had died, I felt bad, more so because I knew several musicians who had personally worked with him, we did several gigs in his honor and I remember, even GWAR played a show without costumes in LA.

My condolences, Imp.

Thanks. I would ****ing love to see GWAR without costume. It'd be cool as hell. I've seen GWAR twice at the Engine Room in Houston.

I lost my cousin on Jan 5th as well, so I tip my drink to you and completely understand your loss. Peace.
