Magnetism on that cosmic glaze has gotta be worth something. And then there's slapping Phoenix around on the astral plane in his base form...plus instantaneous shields.

Magnetism wont work at all and im not sure how wise it would be to take a fight to the astral plain against surfer ( he is supposedly invincible there).

However, onslaught still probably wins

also, the power cosmic grants control over the four fundamental forces of the universe (among other things), one of those forces is the entire electo-magnetic spectrum. current silver surfer is far stronger than the one from the nineties.

but that aside, onslaught in his entirety seems to be more powerful than the surfer (i think), he's an entity capable of altering reality.

Cant first form onslaught ( without Nate and Franklin) alter reality? I always thought he could but i dont know that much about onslaught. If he cant i can see this fight going differently

iirc franklin was the component that allowed him to alter reality, xavier stage one just had mad telekinesis/telepathy.... or just telepathy...

Err... When surfer fought unilord he had absorbed a blackbody... Which was a portion of the unilord... That allowed him to tap into the same power base as unilord... And eventually have all of the power...

In silver surfer the end I think. It was said thatsurfer is coated in a techo skin that gives him his abilities but that eventually it was killing him. I don't remember if it said it was a metal based or not.

Btw didnt Onslaughts first form removed the gem of cyttorak from juggernaught?

Well he isnt "invincible" per say but he is extremely powerful there as it is the source of the power cosmic. Surfer explained it in In thy Name

Onslaught might be tad stronger in teh psi plane but Surfer is not defenseless in there either and if he so wishes to get out this plane (losing) it wouldn't be a problem..

Dont think Onslaught 1st form possess any reality altering abilities but if im mistaken, he can fight off this form of attack.. His done it against Ellie and Marduk both i think are global reality manipulator..

Surfer is a high energy manipulator, Onslaught is made off energy (psi).. Disrupting this energy would probably have some kinda effect against onslaught.. There's also BFR for a quick win or just onslaught of massive energy blast for a win..

the End is non-cannon and definitely not reliable as an indication of what Surfer is made of.

Surfer's got the ability to harness and manipulate all sorts of energies, including the kind that Onslaught is made of. his powers on the astral plane are pretty impressive too.. though not sure if that's gonna be somewhere he wants to take Onslaught though.

However surfer has remade cities, absorbed the the of stars to supercharge himself, healed others. Purged himself... Showed telepathic skills... Etc.
But he hasn't manipulated the psi energy that makes up psi beings

Onslaught does not have reality warping powers of his own. He has the ability to create things ala GL rings, psi constructs if you will. And he learned from Nate, the ability to manipulate the astral realm, and the physical world; cheery picking among the two planes.

Since the Silver Surfer is a living being then Onslaught is also leaching from the Surfer and his power. This is the same as XMan and Dr. Strange feeling as if someone is draining their powers.

Hmmm. I don't think Silver Surfer could embarass classic Juggernaut the way Onslaught did. And that was before Nate and Franklin Richards. Hmmm... don't know why, but I'm really scratching my head on this one. My gut says Onslaught though.

I know Onslaught's really powerful but, he struck me as more like a UniLord type figure...

Surfer demonstrably can adapt to and manipulate energies on that scale so ... should get the job done.

SS FTW hell he absorbed the psionic power from some alien that had killed a planet into himself. now that is complete fonz
