Black Panther as King of Wakanda vs Barack Obama as President of Marvel USA (as established in Spider-Man #583) in a series of challenges.

Each gets a point for each challenge completed. In some challenges both can pass and get a point - if you don't think either can succeed in that particular challenge, the one who you think performed best gets the point. In other challenges there is a winner/loser situation and only the winner gets the point.

Barack Obama is president of Marvel USA, so he has all the resources (technological, human, superhuman, or otherwise) of Marvel USA at his disposal.

Challenge #1 - winner/loser
Straight up HTH fight - no weapons or equipment of any kind, no jungle herbs.

Challenge #2 - winner/loser
One-on-one basketball, first to 11 points. No weapons or equipment other than for the basketball, no jungle herbs.

Challenge #3 - winner/loser
They both have to deliver an uplifting speech on the future direction of the world to the fully assembled UN in New York (United Nations, not Ultimate Nullifier). Who does the best speech?

Challenge #4 - both can pass
Solve the global financial crisis.

Challenge #5 - both can pass
Negotiate a lasting peace between all countries in the Middle East.

Challenge #6 - winner/loser
A small and neutral independent country has a resource that they both desperately want. This country will enter into a exclusive treaty with one of them. Obama and BP must both negotiate with the country to get the treaty, but who can deal the best and get it?

Challenge #7 - both can pass
Protect their respective countries from an incursion of the Annihilation Wave - 10,000 AW troops, no AW beings above herald level. 5 days prep.

Challenge #8 - winner/loser
Marvel USA and Wakanda go to war, with Obama and BP in command of their respective forces, however the war is "conventional" only - they will not use nukes, doomsday weapons etc and will not deliberately target civilians. The battle takes place over a neutral territory with the winner being the first who can drive the other's forces out. 1 week prep.

So...

1) HTH fight
2) 1-on-1 basketball
3) UN speech
4) Fix financial crisis
5) Middle East peace
6) Negotiate treaty
7) AW incursion
8) Conventional war

And the overall winner is?

Bentley
1) T'challa.
2) T'challa.
3) Obama.
4) None, unless BP goes all dictatorial with the world. Panther could do an african regional bank and solve a part of the crisis though.
5) None, but BP won't make it worse.
6) This can go either way, as I don't know how Obama will negotiate with people, and BP tends to be a hard negotiator. Let's say it depends on targets but BP has more to offer, he is, however, non-interventionist.
7) Obama wins due more sheer power in his soil. Panther succeeds to save his country though.
8) Are superheros allowed here? If so, BP will have a hard time. Otherwise he will succeed.

Oh yes - as stated, he has all the Marvel US government's resources at his disposal. This includes Avengers, Intitiative, any other superheroes willing to fight for their country.

The black Panther all the way!

He's a super hero that deals with Dr. doom and Hulk rages!

His wife Storm could lightning bolt fry him at any moment and yet he has a contingency plan even for that!
