Hercules is a master of wrestling, and Captain Marvel seems to come from San Francisco in that picture

Herc, Comparable strength but he has far more skill in H2H.

But Herc had some awesome feats in SI that, IMO, Superman wouldnt've been able to duplicate. And uh, I think he'd get the H2H win over Billy.

(I got that same feeling with Ms. Marvel during the Battle of Manhattan and thinking Diana wouldnt've been able to duplicate it...which is strange because I fully acknowledge both Kal and Diana as being superior to Herc and Carol.)

what did he do? I have most of SI but i havent gotten around to reading it yet.

Well for one, he stood against Nightmare in his own realm and helped fight off tons of nightmare-spawned dream monsters. Then he and the God Squad took on 978 pantheons of alien gods at once, and then he went toe-to-toe with the Skrull God/Eternal...

He was very, very impressive during that run.
