IM can tune his thoughts in such a way that he can mentally link with other beings. This unique trait allows him to 'sense' where other beings are:

Kind of interesting that IM (or his energies, at least) would be specifically mentioned, and needed, when the heroes were combating one of the more powerful foes in DC's history, no? kinda

Recently fielded this PM, so I figured I may as well respond to it here...


Slobo technically did own a version of Infinity Man-- a version created when Impulse impetuously added himself to the summoning of IM(I'll call the finished product 'Impinity Man'.) However, as the last scan says: the Forever Peoples' link with IM was unstable due to Impulse's interference. Therefore, Impinity Man was merely a cheap/weak shadow of the real deal:
