With all the Jedi women kickin' butt in the Clone Wars I had a few questions needing answers!


If taught to use The Force just how good would Princess Leia be with a lightsaber?

Considering that most Jedi wear concealing robes is Aayla Secura properly dressed parading around celibate Jedi men?

Did that Jedi librarian lady in Attack of The Clones carry a lightsaber too?

...not all Jedi men are celibate. *leaves it at that*


Princess Leia - EU, she's alright, apparently.... own speculation, i don't think she'll do bad, i mean, Anakin's still her dad and all, maybe it would run in the family.

Jedi archives lady - meh. who knows. *shrug*

according to Luke in ROTJ, Leia is good "the force runs strong in my family: I have it, my father has it, my sister has it..."

the jedi don't seem to care much about dress code violations: they let Anakin wear his dark one, they let Aayla wear short tops... and so what that they are celibate? They're Jedi, they can handle that or would them meeting twileks always result into orgies?

I thought Jocaste Nu (I think that's her name) wears a lightsabre, yeah. She's a Jedi, why wouldn't she?

In the EU Leia gets trained by a Jedi Master and becomes moderatly good at lightsaber combat.

Didn't she and luke fight in dark empire? Lightsabre fight that is

I didn't read Dark Empire. The instance I was talking about is the Dark Nest trilogy where she is trained and fights a dark jedi.

I was just asking in general

In the ROTS videogame the woman in charge of the jedi archives ignites a lightsaber but is then impaled by Anakin.

I remember that, but then again the ROTS game had Anakin having a full on battle with Mace before cutting off his arm I dunno whether to really go by what happens in games

Well I didn't mean the librarian died that way, I was merely pointing out she was a jedi.

She seems to get quite an easy task, most jedi are out fighting the dark side and she gets to look after a library But then again maybe in her time she was fighting the dark side

I wouldn't call guarding an entire library full of Jedi knowledge, holocrons and other information a unimportant task

Perhaps she wasn't there to simply guard the room, but to add the new information that came into the temple and guide anyone that is interested in the right direction.

I try to keep away as far from the NJO as possible. I could tolerate EU, but not NJO books. there's something.. off about them.

boba's cool though, true that.

Karen Traviss ruined EU Boba for me, as far as Chewie's death goes, I was shocked at first but I can understand where the authors are coming from, I wouldn't want to keep reading their books of I know that none of the major characters ever died.

Yeah Boba's resurrection was cool.

1. Leia could potentially be very good. In later novels she's a decent duellist. Had she focused more on Jedi training she probably could have been better.

2. Jedi don't wear a uniform. Most of them wear the robes as it's traditional, but they're allowed to dress differently if they wish.

3. Yes. She wasn't always a librarian you know.

No problem my friend. I know how busy life gets, I am not as far in the game as you are so I don't know everything obviously. But for me real life always comes first, no one should be afraid to take a leap of absence here to see things in their life through. I have had to do it in the past when things got tense or stressful.

Very nice. I am a high school student gearing off to college. I have a part time job, work on material for friends on their little movies, play PC games, talk on this forum, and a Guns N' Roses forum, an Odyssey 2 forum, a Fastlane forum, and I think that is it pretty much it.

I will have to PM the details of my actual career of course. They may be listening.

Like AVP2 and such? That movie was processed VERY poorly. Far too dark. Compare the trailer and the actual film. There are better ways of dealing with bad CGI or puppets. I would rather see poor effects than nothing.

But is it really coming? I haven't heard any official sources sayin the whole box set would come out on BD...

Oh there will be grain. Film always has a certain amount of grain. Especially in those days, some stocks will sure show it. But that's still nice though.

On the Blade Runner BD you can see the differences in grain per film stock. It's no bother really, but we do get to see stuff we're not supposed to see... hehehehe
