Those lollipops are pretty much capable of anything...

The most hilarious thing is the way his father always compares Herbie to his own "Fat Fury" persona without knowing they're one and the same.

By far one of the most powerful characters ever to exist in comics. Also, written while on LSD.

He can run out of lollipops, if I remember correctly. Without them, he's powerless.

Otherwise, think Squirrel Girl but with more feats. He's absurdly unstoppable.

The only 'weakness' I'd say Herbie might have is that he could potentially run out of lollipops, I guess (as Digi said.) However, he never ran completely out of lollipops throughout his entire series, so that 'weakness' wouldn't really be in character for him at all.

It should also be noted that, while rarely seen, Herbie doesn't 'need' the lollipops to manifest powers - he has used an array of abilities without them (ie. things like magic, strength, speed, durability, the ability to grab energy blasts, his aptly named 'Ultimate Power,' etc.) The suckers just seem like a way for him to focus his powers more than anything. But what kind of consistency do you really expect (where particulars are concerned,) from a comic spawned by the mind of an opiate addict? lol.

Inspired by Bob Hughes' "Popnecker Papers" in Amazing Heroes #173, I collected examples of Herbie's powers and gags from 2003 to 2008. Just google "Herbie Popnecker: Examples of Recurring Themes". There are over 1500 examples.

Herbie could lose powers if lollipops were missing or if they lost their potency. Google: popnecker examples lollipops

Herbie could be hurt, but only if it was funny: Google: popnecker examples indestructible, and view the last section
