Thanos stole a portion of Tryants power. THats why he was able to keep up with thanos.

he could have done it anyway. He didn't steal anything from Odin and he couldn't keep Thanos down either. Tyrant said he had been acumulation power for a while when he fought Silver Surfer Beta Ray Bill and Gladiator.
