Browsed around a bit on this mummy-fuel, and it's not very likely that Egyptian mummies were effectively used to power steam engines.
Basically, they're just bundles of bones with a neglectable amount of carbonhydrates on em, wrapped in straw and bandages.
Flammable, yes. But high in energy-output while burning? Not at all.
