First impression: maybe the OP question should be, Which hero goes down first?

Couldn't at least Red Shift exploit Superman's weaknesses (eg, red sunlight)?

And Surfer's up against 3 near-Supe-level characters, whereas Superman alone would give Surfer trouble.

But in the spirit of the thread...

If none of the Surfer villians can use a Supe weakness, then Superman defeats those bad guys first. Otherwise, Surfer wins.

Don't know if Red Shift can do that. Non is dumb so is Bizarro but they are Superman level characters.

The only one Surfer might have trouble with is Zod. And thats if he doesn't exploit any weaknesses relatively quickly.

And the only one Superman might have trouble with is Ronan. And thats if he doesn't speedblitz him to hell from the outset.


I'd say both heroes clear this in a relatively short amount of time if they play it smart.

he can just as easily open a rift in front of superman that leads to a massive black hole.

No way is Superman giving the Silver Surfer trouble. They're on completely different levels. When Superman can destroy a planet with his finger, and is not even affected by a punch from the Hulk, then maybe the two can be compared. Superman is NOT cosmic.

Superman has faster battle speed than SS.
This is what will give SS some trouble (SS may still win though).
Look at what Thor and others have done to SS with less battle speed than Superman's.

Hulk's strength fluctuates. So taking a hit from him means nothing if one doesn't know the lower bound of his strength at that time.
A very angry Hulk can ko SS in a matter of a few punches. This is a fact.

This fight is rigged, SS can KO the ppl taken from his gallery faster than Supes can KO the ppl taken from his gallery. :-/

Get better opponents from the Surfer Gallergy like Morg or Terrax... at least some Herald level opponents plz.

Cuz Also SS has taken the best punches from a seemingly very angry hulk to little effect before.

Hulk strength ranges from 100 tons to astronomical tons.
Very angry implies astronomical tons (like planet shattering force).

Also Hulk holds back a lot when fighting people. We learned this from WWH.

Angry doesn't equal very angry.
It is impossible to know that Hulk is very angry vs. angry without feats.

Well its true its all open to interpretation. However, SS took punches from a bannerless hulk who was trying to kill him to little effect. The killing intent was there so id say it qualifies as very angry.

why are u guy talking about the hulk..if u say an angry hulk can KO SS..he can KO supes to..so..what's the point??

btw I agree its SS who would give Supe trouble. SS has no weakness to start with and his durability is a notch above Supe. in fact how can Supe even hurt him? he will only hurt his own fists lol

This isn't a fight between Silver Surfer and Superman. Red Shift was a herald and the other two or near herald level.

Super Skrull is not even close to herald level. >_< Surfer completely and utterly outclassed this guy and Thor one shotted im.

I have to write that somebody posted a pick of Superman withstanding Hulk's punches but he is getting stronger with every punch and you can see that they are starting to effect Superman + Superman had a force field.

Wrong. That was PC-Superman. No forcefield and no effect, not yet at least.

BUT!!!!!!!........take note of that entire fight that it took hulk a very very long time to reach the level where supes started to block his punches, and the ONLY offensive action that supes took in that fight was tossing hulk into a building.
