IIRC Herbie has never faced a Beyonder-level enemy. He has had trouble with far lesser foes, I believe. And once implied he couldn't take on a mere army of red Chinese. I'm pretty sure the Beyonder could handle those guys. But Herbie had to train himself an army of super-smart monkeys to fight the communists. I doubt the Beyonder would need that. And that one guy is right, Herbie is an immensely stupid character/book/series. I don't know why everyone's siding with him.
