For those of you who are interested in space MMO's, you should really check out Infinity The Quest for Earth. It's an indie game being made by a single developer. All the other content in the game, such as the models/textures, and music come from its contributers.
It's quite an extrordinary game of massive proportions. Some of the more impressive qualities of this game is that almost everything in this game is procedurally generated and draws upon real astronomical scales and distances of stellar objects. Edit- Also, if you're interested the game has a combat prototype simulator under the download tab. It's not intended to be the entire game, merely a tool to test the flight and combat for the I-Novae engine.
