There's 24 hours between each fight. Recovery and prep possibilities are dictated by the characters standard equipment(they don't have access to anything else) and the time allowed. They(team, not villains) get to read each their next opponents Wiki bio during prep, and their equipment is refilled after each match but not again before the next match(so supplies used in prep are lost until the next fight).

How far do they get?

up to 7. not sure who selene is.

Killing Selene will be tough.

Stops @ 7, unless they manage to somehow take her off-guard.

If they beat her, they clear it.
