Supernova runs the gauntlet

Alright Supernova is vastly powerful who brushed away attacks from Thing, She Thing, Human Torch, Firelord, Thor & Quasar. How far does he get?

Before I give my opinion I'll preface it by stating whenever someone uses this guy in a thread all I can think about is the Powerman 5000 song.

That being said, Supernova falls at Gladiator on a good day or SS period.

Stops at 4

This guy had the Nova Force all the powers of his race.

I'd say he stops at 5. Nova possessed the full Nova Force so was slightly more powerful than this guy, on top of that he wasnt corrupted by the power he still had his wits about him and he was beaten by Surfer quite easily.

This guy was stronger then you guys are giving credit for he had some powerful Avengers trying to stop him and one herald and gaurdian Quasar

Meh, Richard Rider had the whole Nova force and Worldmind, and Surfer was still owning him.

He was holding back power to begin with, but by the Annihilation main series he was doing fine using most of the force. And by the time he fought the Surfer he was happily using the full Nova force. I mean, some of his feats would require the whole Nova force to accomplish, ie, going toe to toe with a Mature Technarch. Its just Worldmind being within Richard allowed it to regulate and use the power w/o overloading/insanity.

Unless Nova was functioning on that level, we can't assume he started using the full Nova Force unless it was specifically stated(which would retroactively down grade the Nova Force or make Surfer a REALLY bad mofo).

He doesn't appear as powerful as he was as Supernova alone
