The Transformers fight any *one* race of the following:
-Kree
-Skrulls
-Shi'ar
These are the 80s TFs, cartoon & comic book, characters are at their strongest. The Autobots and the Decepticons work together seemlessly. The Autobots are led by Optimus, Decepticons by Galvatron (but he's not crazy. Keep in mind that there was at least one instance in the cartoon where he blows away a planet). There is of course no Unicron, Matrix or Primus involved in any of this (and I hate all that fanboy crap where everyone thinks Optimus can open up the Matrix whenever he wants like it's some ordinary weapon he can use on anyone, guaranteeing automatic victory). All Transformers who died in the cartoon or comic book are alive other than in the case of the robots (Seekers & Insecticons) who got turned into other robots (Cyclonus, Scourge, the Sweeps). And other similar cases.
