A device that is mostly used to change the voltage in an alternating current (AC); however, it can also be used to maintain the same voltage but act as an electrical isolator. The most common type is the laminated core transformer, which is found in myriad power supplies. Made of steel laminations wrapped with two coils of wire, the ratio of windings between the "primary" input coil and the "secondary" output coil determines the voltage change. For example, if the primary has 1,000 windings and the secondary 100, an input of 120 volts is changed to 12v.

Uh huh. smile

Scythe
There'll be a transformer Transformer. Bay will make sure.

Sadako of Girth
I bet it'll be kibble tastic.

Scythe
A giant cube, with eyes.

Sadako of Girth
That cant mass shift....yet does. shifty

Scythe
And it has flames.

Sadako of Girth
laughing out loud

It will have when I get hold of it.... stick out tongue

Scythe
Natural flames. Yay!

Sadako of Girth
Natural (plus zippo/aerosol assisted), yeah.... stick out tongue

Scythe
Once it melts, I bet it would look like a hippo.

Sadako of Girth
You mean it'll become "beast wars transformer-transformer"...?

I guess if Bay includes it in his movie, the hippo altmode design'll be rejected in favour of a miltary vehicle/hippo hybrid made by GMC.

Scythe
Yeah, probably.

Sadako of Girth
Man that Jetfire looked terrible.

Scythe
I like the one in my sig.

Sadako of Girth
That looks like an F-14.

It's an F-14 Tomcat, alittle different than Screamer, Skywarp and Cracker.

Sadako of Girth
They were F-15s.
