I just ran a 4:53 mile. This no partying and whatnot thing is going good !!! (not that anyone cares, just sharing!)

I hope it goes well for you.

I can do 3.14 mile at 6.2 on threadmill.

It was my second mile of the day. I ran one but it was at 6 minutes. Then i ate. An hour later i worked out my triceps, shoulders, and back for an hour, waited about 20 mins then ran the second mile. 4:53 is def my fastest time so far. I'm on a new workout routine and am loving it.

when im not sick{like right now} i walk 6 miles to my gym and then work out with medium/heavy free weights for around two and a half hour, swim for 40 minutes, then walk back 6 miles home. i do this almost every day. 🙂

dunno about speed though. i have asthma.

A six mile walk is a beast of a walk. I use 10lb and 30lb dumb bells to work out with when I'm doing anything with weights (10lbs for punching and running in place with, 30lb for tricep kickbacks and bicep curls). I usually only run a mile or 2 a day until summer time. Then i run 3-5 miles a day.

Well done to your mile, keep us posted everytime you get faster.

lol i dunno if i can get faster! Not unless i get my cardio sky high and do a full out sprint. But i do have 2 months left of this particular workout routine so we'll see what happens 🙂 I think if i start dieting more and drop ten pounds i might be able to shave a few seconds off.

im gonna go have another smoke.

I think my back is in particularly good shape. My routine consist of tons of pullups (close grip: overhand/underhand, switch grip, and wide grip) and pushups (varying styles: military, jail-house, staggered hand, slow downs and ups, plyo or clapping, etc). And then lots of other stuff too!! Trying to get better definition and bigger muscles while trying to jack my cardio up through the roof!
