Both have equally an effiecient and nameless crew. Picard has a Galaxy class. Khan gets a Nebula class. This is after WOK, so Khan has already fought Kirk and lost. Both have complete tactical knowledge of both ships. Picard gets Data as a FO, Khan gets Spock. Who wins?

Thats tough, with Spock as Khan's right hand man and the even tactical/technical knowledge that that implies..

Gonna give this thought, but erring on the side of believing for now that Khan's ego will unfortunately force him to overide Spock's advice to their detriment at some point.

Also Picard will have the advantage of the furthered knowledge that 58 odd years hindsight would provide, which might be a big plus..
(Spock may too be up on things by the time of "Unification".)

If Picard would to plug Data directly into the ship for this fight, he'd easily win, as he can react, deduce and come with a counter faster than little Wesley pounding away at the helm controls ever could. Spock too.

Yes, Data has done this before, he's taken over the ship at least once this way, iirc.

When i read the thread title, i thought you were gonna have a fisty fight between them. In which case, Khan would win.

Now, Galaxy classes are more powerful then Nebula (Galaxy being the Flagship of Starfleet until it's unfortunate demise in Generations). In that alone, Khan would have some serious trouble defending against Picard (regardless of Spock being there).

But both have knowledge of both classes, so i would say that Khan would be as relentless as he can and try and **** picard royally.

It would be a long battle, i believe, but overall Picard would win.

if it's a galaxy from before the dominion war, this is a toss up, imo. the galaxy has more phaser coverage, but the nebula has more maneuverability...

if this is a galaxy from during the war, though, they stomp. those galaxy class ships were beasts...

How much more phaser capability are we talking? I always thought they were sort of evenly matched. What about torps?

I have no idea what he's talking about. The two ships are almost identical in armament with the Nebula class having better sensors. The two ships are very similar in design. The differences are physical layout and the things it is designed to do. Galaxy, flagship, exploration. Nebula, sensor stuff, patrols, etc.
