3 1/2 yrs alreday and bleach is still running.
i do believe bleach is catchin up to YYH. ulq vs h2ich reminds me
of sensui got s-kicked by demonyusuke. my 2cents:
-ulq ignored getsuga and his speed almost decapitate ichi from high tower
- blackdragon > blackcero/lanza but only can be release
twice while ulq's cero/lanza probably unlimited
- ulq got regen
- ulq doesnt seem exhausted at all after h2ichi fight with his body
decapitated.
- hiei's dragonfusion probably stronger, cero probably wont
hurt him and could dodge lanza with ease but hiei fusion won't last more than
10-15mins
hiei can win if he catch ulq first and slice him not with normal sword
but with blackflame sword. if ulq keep running away until hiei fusion wears out
then ulq could finish hiei while he's sleeping

I think the rapid-striking techniques weren't too indicative of overall speed, just strikes. Yusuke couldn't attack near that fast at that time and he was in Hiei's league.
That said, the speed does continue to increase and by this point Hiei's speed is faster in all categories.

You have no basis to claim Yusuke couldn't attack nearly that fast.Considering Yusuke was, indeed, in Hiei's league, clearly he has the reaction-time and attack speed to fight on par.
Well, we see Yusuke and for that matter Kuwabara fight, and they don't do the rapid-attacking thing at anywhere near that level.
There's no indication they can; those attacks were the specialities of those combatants after all. They just manage in other ways.
