If they did have a child, wouldn't that child be one of the more powerful Jedi? If they did, then why didn't I hear about it?

Well... (1) Revan's character wasn't created untill Knights of the Old Republic. and (2) Though Bastila had a child, the father hasn't yet been revealed, so we really don't know if Revan ever had a child.
