Well like i said i didn't know there was another one. I was a lil surprised when i didn't find one. I hope it gets merged at least. In my opinion once a thread hasn't been posted in in so long it should be closed instead of the one that's new. But i guess there isnt a way to know for sure whether or not someone just plagiarized the idea or not. I can honesty say i didn't. I woulda just bumped it if i had found it.

Click Search, then click Advanced Option. Enter your search terms, in this case "South Park". Select Off-Topic Forum in the "Search by forum" option, Select "Search titles only", Select "Show results as threads". Hit enter, and voila only a few threads. Look through there and see if you find one you were gonna make.
