The Grey Fox
Well, since the first decade of the 2000's is coming to a close, I thought we might as well put down our favourite bands and artists from it so far.

They don't have to have started in the 00's, just put out albums or new music in the decade at some point.

I searched for any threads like this, so apologies if it's already been done and that.

Mine are:

Radiohead
Queens Of The Stone Age
Green Day
Muse
The Strokes
Foo Fighters
The White Stripes
Beck
Weezer
Tool

I guess a lot of mine overflow from the 90's, but I like their 2000's work just as much.

Honourable mentions: The Libertines, Lamb Of God, Blink 182, Interpol, Kaiser Chiefs, Babyshambles, Jimmy Eat World, Gorrilaz, RHCP.

SnakeEyes
Bloc Party, Muse, Sigur Ros, Death Cab for Cutie, The National.

carnage52
Mastodon
Lamb Of God
Fear factory
In Flames
Deftones
Machine Head
Children Of Bodom
BTBAM
Faith No More (they count they refromed)
Soundgarden (it's inneviatable)

The Grey Fox
FNM haven't released any albums in this decade, though. And Soundgarden broke up in 1997.

Mastodon, Lamb Of God, Fear Factory and Deftones I thoroughly agree with, though.

Funkadelic
Gnarls Barkley
Eminem
D' Angelo
Outkast
NaS
Amy Winehouse
Erykah Badu
Prince
Sananda Maitreya
Jamiroquai

Impediment
Lamb of God
Gojira
Tool
Johnny Cash
Mastodon
Daath

....is all I can name right now.

I'm aware that some of these started in the 90s.

Elbow,
The Libertines,
Muse,
Tool,
Dir en grey,
A Perfect Circle,
Dragon Ash,
Radiohead,
The White Stripes,
Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen combined for my last. (Not a band, obviously but yeah...)

Alpha Centauri
Tool, Mastodon, Radiohead, Opeth, Fleet Foxes, Anything by Mike Patton, Clutch, Prince & The New Power Generation, Joanna Newsom, Sufjan Stevens.

So we can include solo acts, right?

The Fall (still going strong)
Stars of the Lid
The Durutti Column
Animal Collective
Spiritualized
Deerhunter
Mouse on Mars
The Residents
Nobukazu Takemura
Sasu Ripatti (Vladislav Delay/Luomo)

It was hard to leave off Stereolab, but their best work was pre-00 in my opinion. Still one of my favorite bands, though. Almost went with Jan Jelinek as well. There were probably a few that I've forgotten, but these are the first that came to mind.
