Who remembers the Avengers / Freedom Force fight where Blob, Pyro, Avalanche, Mystique, Spiral, Destiny and Spider-Woman (Julia) defeated the entire East/West Avengers lineup of Captain America, Hercules, Wonder Man, Iron Man, Captain Marvel (Monica), Hawkeye, Mockingbird, Hank Pym, Wasp, Black Knight, and Tigra?

Hercules tried taking Blob on and found himself immediately stuck in the fat and unable to pull his fists out, so Ares better not try the same tactic.

Ares Takes a axe to blob's head, luaghs as pyro tickles him with the crap flames, and snaps avalanche's neck.

Also: stuck in the fat? that's some horrible, horrible writing there. (immortal) hercules is the equal of thor, who's the equal of savage hulk. No way something like that should happen. ever.

These three are very, very D-list. If an immortal god of war can't take out these chumps, he needs to retire

Yeah, the Avengers were pretty stupid in that issue. Hercules didn't hurt Blob at all, just got one fist then the other trapped in Blob's fat as soon as he tried to punch him. Blob called him a chump and started to headbutt him, then Spiral knocked Hercules out with a spell.
