Just for fun, imagine the same rebooting happens with the Next Generation crew. What younger actors would you cast to play all the parts?

Wynona Ryder plays Worf, for sure.

Willem Dafoe for Jordie LaForge.

Tom Hanks for Beverly Crusher.

I was thinking Jim Carrey would the voice of the computer or perhaps be the human torpedo

Picard would surely have to be played by the Guy who played Shinzon although maybe aged a little to make the other characters fit.

Can we keep in mind these should be younger actors, just like what they did for the original crew?

You know, I wonder how our friends in France felt all those years, having the French-born Captain Picard be played by a British actor, with no accent.
Should they actually find someone with French in their background, and have him speak with an accent?
Can't think of a name, other than Gaspard Ulliel from 'Hannibal Rising.'

Im still forced to root for Picard in his early hatred of Wesley.
The fact that I still havent yet married and had children, on days when I worry about lifes progress, is singlehandledly comforted by this thought:

"Dude, You could have had a Wesley Crusher."

And then everything seems right.



The fact that he was revealed to be alive in Nemesis was only more fuel for condemnation for that movie.

Killing Data AND doing that was just malicious spite to the fans from the writers, imho.

this should feature a cast full of women, both young and old

That's the point. As you may know, the Ferengi do not allow their women to wear clothes.

Well why don't the Ferengi rule....?

Theirs is clearly the way forward.



But having said that, I'd rather they just get in loads of gorgeous human women (and Sarah Palin) in them uniforms, and forget the Ferengi altogether as Im not into their women.
