Nemesis X
L is up at Midnight on the computer and finds an unknown site. At the bottm of the page it says "type the name of the person you want sent to hell". L types Light's name in there and Hell Girl appears out of nowhere. She offers him a doll with a red thread around it's neck. If it gets pulled, Light will be sent to hell but L is not sure if he wants to do this because if he pulls the thread, he too will go to hell but he doesn't want there to be any more deaths by the hands of Kira. Ryuk senses a disturbance and knows it's Hell Girl. He alerts Light that Ryuzaki might send him to hell. Light is shocked by this and has to get that doll away from L.

Will L pull the thread, will Light succeed into getting it way from him, or will L refuse sending Light to hell and everything will be back to the way it was before meeting Hell Girl?

You can discuss on how you may think this will all turn out in the end.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about with the whole Hell Girl and string pulling thing, Hell Girl is an anime series about a girl who avenges people by sending the person they hate to hell.

Now that that's out of the way, discuss.

L pulls the string and nothing happens because Death Note characters don't go to heaven or hell.

XanatosForever
This would become more of a battle between Ryuk and Ai Enma, I think, because Ryuk is going to want Light for himself, and all other kinds of supernatural rules that'd be thrown for a loop.

Ah but L dont want to go to hell and L could go to hell because he has not used the death note.

I think that L wouldnt pull the string Loght would probably try and grab the doll and pull the string by accidently killing himself, his other option is to write L's name in the book and kill him 1st.

No at the end of the series they reveal that that rule was a lie and actually nobody can go to heaven or hell regardless of death note use.

I don't remember that.

I don't remember that. At the end when Light dies it says that "Humans someday will surely die. After death their destination is nothingness."

But L would be to busy weighing the pros and cons to ever pull the string. Just like with the Death Note.

Quincy
They explicitly state that the rule is a lie?

because that shit can be interpreted in different ways.

Kento
Don't remember. I just remember the end, after Light is killed that it says that. Unless Kandy is talking about something else in it. But if there is a heaven and hell..not all humans would go to nothingness.

Nephthys
Yeah, at the end (directors cut) Light is re-incarnated as a shinigami.

And L isn't self-sacrificing enough to pull the string, but Light couldn't get the doll without killing L.

Quincy
Light being a shinigami is never stated.

It's interpretation.

and it's non-canon.

King Kandy
There is no heaven or hell. So the statement "A death note user cannot go to heaven or hell" is true... Ryuk just so happened to leave out the bit that the same applies to everyone else.
