I doubt this is the only glacier that has advanced.

All glaciers are melting and advancing, not surprising seeing as the earth is still gradually coming out of an ice ice.

That problem is people have a short memory, they think everything should be as it was in some decade. This is of course not so, climate has always changed, ice ages, heat waves come and go. Nothing is "normal" but always changing
