When Soarin' Norrin was vastly depowered, the best Loki could do was stalemate him (SS volume 1, issue 4).

Enchantress never struck me as being all that more powerful than Loki.

Current Surfer wins.

Depends. If Loki has any prep at all the team wins easily. If not, I'll say Surfer 6/10

Loki owned surfer back in the day. He had SS beleiving that Thor was a tyrant. What's to stop him from doing that again. Add enchantress and its a stomp.

Couple of soaring mistakes there.

- The depowering was retconned.
- Loki added his own power to the Surfer after smacking him.
- The sole reason why Norrin was there was because Loki needed someone he could use against thor

Please provide evidence of this retcon. And aside from the fact that Loki did only stalemate SS (the fight ended in that 2-hand / fingers meshed posture that superheroes seem to like--and then Loki gave power to Surfer: their fight was how Loki determined Surfer's "worthiness" for the temp upgrade), your 2nd and 3rd points are irrelevant to this thread's topic.

XII. Combat ... "vs Loki scans." Loki even got in a good shot (after the Surfer got in a nice blast) and was surprised that Surfer was "unhurt" and then proving to be a "match" for his "godly force." Basically, this looks like a stalemate to me. And again, this was a Surfer vastly depowered from the sonic shark (ie, this was before Loki powered him up for his fight with Thor).

I'm pretty sure Forum Rules would stop Loki from being able to sidetrack Surfer by convincing him to chase down Thor again. And if anything, Surfer won the fight with Loki...

Not to mention Current Surfer is aware Loki's a dick.

I didnt mean have him chase down Thor again. What I meant was couldnt loki just play mind games with Surfer again. I beleive Surfer could be controlled by Loki.

Look at how Loki is dominating The Surfer? He even said that he would not be a match for Thor. It did not end in a stalemate at all, Loki gave his powers to Norrin and then stopped. That was the entire point of their fight, did you read the comic? Did you think that Loki wanted to just pick a fight with him at random and then give up

I didn't say that Surfer actually won, I said if anything Surfer won. Most consider it a stalemate but if we had to pick a winner, it'd be Surfer IMO. And my justification for it is Loki yelling for Surfer to stop after Surfer refused to surrender and poured on the power.

"Then ENOW!" This is not the sound of a man yielding for a superior opponent, but rather someone commanding the other to stop. Seeing as the Surfer is lying on his knees, it hardly looks as if he was having an upper hand. Regardless, Loki was adding his own power to the Surfer's. If anything, it's amazing that he can still stand.

^Though surfer is on one knee in that scan, from their body positioning he is clearly in the position of dominance. Though thats not at all an accurate way of determining the winner of that fight.

He's yelling enough when Surfer refuses to yield. He's all arched backwards and letting go and falling to Surfer's level(just look at the difference in how Loki's standing over Surfer in the last panel of the page before) and letting go(just look at his right hand) and in the next panel Surfer's back on his feet and Loki looks like he's crouching or something(I'm sure opinions will vary on that though). Now to me, that seems like it played out so that Loki backed down after he realized that he'd gotten himself into a bad situation and starting losing the game of "mercy", but you're free to disagree.

And I didn't see a single indication that Loki was adding his power to Surfer's at that point or that there was anything other than an attack going on right then. He was still testing Surfer and sceptical as to whether or not Surfer was the right man for the job up until that last panel so I don't know why you'd think that.
