This thread is in response to "Best Performances" I want to know which actors you hate in there roles? For me it is George Clooney as Batman, Halle Berry as Catwoman, Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze, Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl, Topher Grace as Venom, and Nicholas Cage as Ghost Rider.

Tobey Maguire as Spiderman - Worst casting ever!

Worst to, well, less worst
1- The entire cast Batman and Robin
2- Hally Berry as Catwoman
3- Tropher Grace as Venom
4- Jessica Alba as Sue Storm
5- Ioan Gruffudd as Reed Richards
And for the 6th place, we have those two:
- Jim Carrey for the Riddler
- Tommy Lee Johnes for Two-Face
both in Batman Forever


Julian McMahon as Doctor Doom (I must precise that I'm pretty sure that he could possibly be a great Dr Doom, but the scenarios of both films really don't help him.)

James Marsden as Cyclops
Jessica Alba as Sue Storm

etc etc...

i hated Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl because i just hate her in general....well i don't hate her i just dislike her i guess

George Clooney as Batman was just bad.

I'm not sure about Marsden's Cyclops. The characterisation was horrible, but given a chance Marsden may have been good.

for me he didn't have the physical presence required...

Halle Berry, Arnold, George Clooney, Jim Carrey

really, are there any actors that can really pull off the physical presence required to be a superhero? No. After all Robert Downey Jr. did a fantastic job as Tony Stark, Christian Bale did a great job as Batman, but both are no where near the physical presence of the comic book characters.

If we're are talking about acting the parts then, I think James Marsden did a good job acting the part of Cyclops.

However, Toby Maguire sucked in both the acting and physical presence. Topher Grace would have been a better choice.

he didn't act the part either, but that can be down to bad writing and bad directing.

What's wrong with Iaon Groffud as Richards? Only bad cast choice there was McMahon as Doom and Alba as Susan.

- Jessica as Sue...though every time I watch the film, I get a little more used to it.
- Doug as Norrin.
- Jack N as the Joker.
- Kate as Lois.

I loved Jack Nicholson's Joker! not as much Heath's though.....

Marsden would have made a better Daredevil than Cyclops, build wise.

Nic Cage in Ghost Rider, that one stands out to me. Horrid.

I like how he played the Joker; I just thought he was wrong physically for the Joker. The Joker is long and lean, not squat and round. Heath's Joker worked better because the take on the character was fresh and more realistic.

I always thought Cage would've made a good Silver Surfer, better than Jones' (too thin and bowl-legged, eye size too small). Ever see Cage in "City of Angels"? Something about his performance there makes me think Silver Surfer.

Kirsten Dunst was bad as MJ.
