I'm new here but not to comics. I noticed someone pitting the original Avengers against the Watchmen and was suprised to see Captain America fighting alongside the Hulk for the Marvel team.
They were both only active in issue 100 as Hulk left in issue two , fought the team in issue three, and Cap was recovered in issue four. Trust me, these issues I remember.
I have a lot of very snotty things to say about comics and thought that this might just be the venue for my musings.

PS All comics books tell different sides of the same master story. Now try to get some sleep tonight.
