I'm down guys, let's try and get Leo on the team as well. We could use a couple of heavy hitters for this tourney.

I'll think of some characters I want to rep.

Pretty sure of Genis-Vell as my heralder. Stuck on the others.

For meta, either Supernova, Death's Head II or Adam X-treme. Can't really decide.

And street...I'd be fine with BP, Elektra, or Daredevil. No preference there, either. Although I have a feeling BP would be better for the tourney, because of his prep access, standard tech, suit, etc.

I'm out unfortunately. This thing has become way to complicated(and therefor time consuming) for me to be able to participate. When it's all over I might set up a small group of Mavel vs DC BZ matches like I'd originally envisioned if anyone's interested, but there's no way I'll have enough free time to rep 2 different characters under a tourney format.

So.....whose going to grab Surfer first now Goob's out

Damnit, we needed Goob with the Surfer. I guess Naija likes soarin' Norrin just as well. I would also like someone else to represent Thor, as I'd like to rep Loki.

Can we get more of a solidified list on who is taking who in the street level bracket?

I've got several characters in mind who I could rep regardless, and I don't want to step on anyone's toes.

...Plus, I Haven't actually decided officially.

I've got Taskmaster for street level if that's cool with everyone...

I'd like to go with Bullseye.

Unless I'm overlooking something, Agent Zero/Maverick aren't on the tier list at all.

I wonder where they'd place. Prolly low meta, right?

Depends on the version tbh

Normal level Mavarick would prolly be at low meta, with his basic kinetic absorbtion

Depowered would be high street I guess

Weapon X upgrades would be mid meta I guess, due to the anti HF corrosive, and the enhanced kinetic absorbtion that allowed him to create blasts and enhance his physical attacks to superhuman levels.

It would be awesome if one of us could pull off Nick Fury.

Also, if you're going with Taskmaster, make sure to remember his appearance in the obscure Origin of Spider-Woman. Where he basically schools her when she's got powers.

I have his appearances in the early 60's Strange Tales, when he shared half the comic. If anyone needs them.

Yeah dw, I've got every issue where Tasky appears either on the PC or at home.

Nick Fury would be a great advantage mainly due to his resources and stuff, but does anyone on the team have lots of knowledge on him?

Unfortuantely I don't know a lot about him.

I just know that he's got SHIELD at his disposal xD

I'd place all versions of Agent Zero at low meta fairly confidently.

Even with upgrades, he's not above Spider-Man's level, but in low meta cuz of his powers.

I could consider grabbing Nick Fury, I know some stuff.

Black Panther would be a great pick too, for resources.

Karnak is arguably high street, since he has no actual powers. Attilan would be great for prep.

Karnak is in low meta, if I can pass him off as Street then I'll use him instead of Bullseye.

Isn't there a tech limit of a standard SHIELD blaster though?

Is that just an offensive tech limit?

Karnak is superhuman, all Inhumans are ... they're just plain better than people.

I'm not sure, ask sho 'nuff.

Yeah, anything outside of character specific standard equipment is heavily capped off.

Unfortunately i think im out of this as well. I thought this thing would kick of soon after the idea was suggested some weeks back when i had loads of free time. During the pcoming weeks il be pretty busy with visa arrangements and other stuff for school and so i doubt il be able to come on that often and actively participate.

Just out of curiosity, who does that leave team Marvel with?

Me, Eny, Kris and Smurph as definites, I think Gundam is in as well...

I thought so too. Roldz/Ambient one of the most knowledgeable guys on surfer on the forum and is a good debater as well.

roldz is very good, but he's rarely on. be a great person to have on the team though if he's willing.

I didn't know he was still a member.

I was thinking of them, but considering those lists aren't the be all and end all, and Current Ghost Rider's mass of feats that are easily beyond Mid Meta (massive hellfire blasts, near instant regen and invincibility and very good strength feats, such as tearing the plane in half and tearing down a skyscraper), I doubt Ghost Rider (well, Blaze at least) could count as a mid meta anymore...


And just an idea I had-

With Smurph using Black Bolt, Dazzler could an interesting Meta pick for someone, as the vibrations caused by BB speaking would massively amp her power output.

Really sorry to do it, but I'm kind of suffering from a KMC burnout right now. Haven't really been 'into' a good debate in months, feeling kind of lazy, etc. I'm gonna probably take a break from the forums for a few days (besides visiting at work, which is hella boring), write or something, and get my head back where it should be.

I've got two short stories and a possible novel floating around in my head.

The comic scripts thing are on hold right now because my cousin has some issues with the illustrations. Meh.

So I figured I'd go back to some roots, get mentally refreshed. Past month or so I've been wandering around here going, "So and so wins." And that was that, and then half-remembering things when I had the comics on hand to go back and just check if I wasn't so lazy.

Dark Fantasy/Sci-Fi.

I've written a few scripts for 3 comic books I wanted to start up. My cousin and I were going to pull together our own online comics company, because I can write, and he's in college for art (illustration.) and needs the portfolio boost. But he'd also have to ink it, too, and he's having some issues with his equipment (he does it on the computer on somekind of drawing table...Wacom tablet, I think it's called.) So, that's delayed.

Well, like I said, you should post them on KMC if you feel comfortable doing so. If theres one thing we at least all know is comics and can appreciate a good story. I wonder how many other people on KMC (the comics section) have written things and no one knows. Heck, no one knew (Roldz? please someone tell me it was Roldz), was an incredible artist till the one of the tournaments we had and he drew amalgams for people.
