Yeah apparently so...heres a little quote on the "lifeform"

So basically it's a large slime mold during it's slug stage. I'm unimpressed.

No, they are part of the animal kingdom. I believe that share the superphyla that also contains annelids, which these remind me of, to a certain extent.

I've seen more impressive worms in my reef aquarium (when I used to keep one). Some ****ers would extent over a foot at night out their burrow, looking for food (aka fish poop).

I believed it was from the show, but looking at it closely, it does look like a crafty edit job. Going to have to pick my mind, as I can swear I saw this on the telly.
