Gotta go with Alan. One of Sinestro's frequent advantages is that even veteran lanterns still have to work to overcome yellow. Alan wouldn't have that issue.

someone please PLEASE tell me why sentinel is in the TRANS-TIER when it's not even clear he can beat sinestro????
