We all know that in the manga Saga killed Shion and took his place as the Pope.But this was evil Saga,and Shion was really old.
On this thread,Saga and Shion are both on their spectre forms from the hades arc.This means that it is a good Saga vs Shion at his prime.
(Well,I think the hades arc is Shion's prime.He says that his 18 old body is "the peak of a man's power and beauty",as we can see here;

If that is really true,them Shion should be on his prime.Not to mention that he fought Dohko,supposedly one of the strongest Gold Saint, on his prime,young body to a standstill, and apparently had enough energy to toss Seiya,Shun,Hyoga and Shiryu around like if it was nothing when they attacked him.)
I think that on the Hades Arc,Shion has enough power to fight Saga to a standstill for a while,but ultimately it'll all come to who has the best attacks,and I believe Saga beats even a Shion on his prime on that department.Even if we consider the absolute defense of Shion's Crystal Wall,I think Galaxian Explosion can break it easly,as the attack of an armoless,still on his old form Dohko could break through it, as can be seem here;
