Jaime has problems with magnetic fields, I don't recall just regular electricity, but if Jaime can handle his own against Polaris in regards to his weakness, I don't see Static being much more of a problem.

Meanwhile the Scarab can figure all kinds weapons to nuetralize static, imo.

Static doesn't just shoot electricity though, he's more intelligent with his powers, he uses his magnetism to create constructs and such
